Tile leveling clips for the EU and UK trade
European buyers specify in metric and buy in shelf-ready units. Both are already the default here: the moulds are cut in metric, and packing can be built around the shelf rather than around the pallet.
Metric is the native unit here
Nothing is converted. The five widths are 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 and 3 mm, and 2.5 mm on the hollow-top profile. What you put on the specification is what the mould is cut to, which removes the rounding question that comes up in markets working in inches.
Tile thickness coverage runs from 17 mm on the recommended clip to 29 mm on the tall clip, so a single supplier covers standard wall tile through to thick large-format floor.
| Profile | Joint widths | Max tile thickness |
|---|---|---|
| Recommended | 0.5 · 1 · 1.5 · 2 · 3 mm | 17 mm |
| Hollow-top | 1 · 1.5 · 2 · 2.5 · 3 mm | 18 mm |
| Slim base | 1 · 1.5 · 2 · 3 mm | 18 mm |
| Tall | 1 · 1.5 · 2 · 3 mm | 29 mm |
Artwork in more than one language
Sales and the website run in English and Spanish, and packaging artwork can carry the language your market needs. Artwork is checked against a proof before production, so a language error is caught on the proof rather than on the pallet.
If you sell into several EU markets from one warehouse, the usual answer is one SKU with multilingual packaging rather than one SKU per language — it keeps the carton count down and avoids splitting a container across near-identical lines.
Shelf-ready rather than pallet-ready
Compact shelf-ready packaging is the format most EU and UK retail channels ask for. It sits alongside neutral bulk bags for trade counters and repackers, and retail cards where the product is sold hanging.

Documents EU buyers ask for
No certification is claimed for the clips. Where a buyer needs compliance documentation — REACH or RoHS are the two that come up most often — those are confirmed per order rather than assumed, because the answer depends on the material batch and on what your own importer of record requires.
The HS code is 3926909090, classified under plastics rather than under ceramic tile. Getting that right at the border matters more than the rate itself: a tile classification sends the shipment down the wrong duty line.
Trade terms: FOB, CIF or EXW.
LCL, FCL, and what the numbers are built on
Samples, LCL and full containers are all available. A 20ft takes up to 410 cartons and a 40HQ up to 960, built on the 57 × 37.5 × 33.5 cm carton holding 3000 pieces.
For a first order covering several widths, LCL is usually the cheaper test: the minimum applies per SKU, so four widths at one or two cartons each fits comfortably inside a shared container without committing to a full one.
