Tile leveling clips for the Australian and NZ trade
Large-format floor and wall work is the default in this market, which puts the emphasis on the tall profile and on having the whole system — clip, wedge and plier — rather than clips alone.
The tall profile is the one that matters
Large-format tile is thicker than standard wall tile, and a clip that cannot span the tile edge is not adjustable — it is just loose. The tall clip covers tile up to 29 mm, against 17 mm on the recommended profile and 18 mm on the hollow-top and slim base.
The trade-off is stiffness rather than size: the tall clip carries a taller body, so it needs a wedge seated properly before pressure comes on. That is a training point for a crew, not a product limitation.
| Profile | Max tile thickness | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Tall | 29 mm | Large-format floor and wall |
| Hollow-top | 18 mm | Everyday value series |
| Slim base | 18 mm | Easy break-off profile |
| Recommended | 17 mm | Standard floor and wall |
A system, not a single part
Clips, reusable wedges and pliers are supplied as one range, and the reason is practical: a crew that runs out of pliers stops, and a clip without a wedge does nothing. Ordering the three together also means the wedge and the clip window are matched rather than assumed to be.
Wedges are reusable and ribbed for grip. Pliers are 240 mm with a steel mechanism, adjustable for floor and wall work.
Contractor supply and repacking
Contractor channels here usually want bulk rather than retail presentation. Neutral bulk bags of 100 pieces are the standard unit, and a repacker can take those and present them under their own brand.

- Your brand on the bag where the channel needs it
- Mixed pallets combining clips, wedges and pliers
- Carton data and specification sheets with the quotation
Container planning
A 20ft takes up to 410 cartons of 3000 pieces and a 40HQ up to 960, on the 57 × 37.5 × 33.5 cm carton. Because the minimum applies per SKU, a mixed load across four widths and three components is a normal way to fill a first container.
The carton figures assume the default packing. A different bag fill changes the carton count, so plan against the packing you are actually ordering.
Documents and lead time
HS code 3926909090. No certification is claimed for the clips; compliance documents are confirmed per order where a buyer needs them.
Samples ship within 3 days. A full container takes about 20 days of production before loading — worth separating in your own planning, because the two schedules are often confused.
Trade terms: FOB, CIF or EXW.
